Dewey’s Brynn Ripey – Cheer Spotlight Presented By Tulsa Bone & Joint Bartlesville
- Updated: May 1, 2020
Dewey High School’s Brynn Ripey was recently part of a VYPE online poll for cheer and Ripey finished runner-up thank to all of the support from friends and family.
Ripey has cheered since the second grade and she loves living in the community of Dewey.
“The Dewey community has always been really support for any athlete of any sport and during every season the stands are always packed with supporters. I’ve loved being able to be part of this community,” said Ripey.
Ripey enjoys being a student-athlete at Dewey. Also a member of National Honor Society, Ripey said she loves to represent her school.
“Being a student athlete at Dewey has always been fun. All of the athletes are close and each team has a tight bond. I loved being able to represent Dewey as a cheerleader,” said Ripey. “No matter what happened throughout the year all of the cheerleaders had each others backs. We were all close and loved each other through the ups and down.”
As a student, her favorite subject is Speech and her favorite teacher is Mrs. Williams.
Now a senior, Ripey is looking forward to the next chapter of her life.
“I will be attending University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond to study Geriatrics,” said Ripey.
