Fairland’s Chloe Brown – FFA Spotlight Presented by Oklahoma AgCredit Vinita

By Rachelle Rogers

Chloe Brown, a sophomore at Fairland High School doesn’t get much down time. She is involved in  FFA, basketball, softball, cheer, and competitive cheer. Chloe has been in the ring since she was nine years old through 4H. She’s currently the Secretary of her FFA chapter and enjoys showing goats.

“I feel like sports and FFA work together well,” states Chloe. “In sports you learn to work as team and in FFA you learn leadership skills which helps you in sports.”

Growing up in Fairland, Chloe has played basketball since little league and really loves to play defense. She has been sidelined by a couple different injuries over the past couple of years, so she is really looking forward to getting out on the court this season and showing what she can do. Softball and cheer are two of her other passions.

Getting good grades is a priority as Chloe is a straight A student. She’s also a member of FCA and is involved in her local church’s youth program, Accelerate. What drives her to be involved in so many things?

“I know that I only have four years of high school so I need to make the most of it,” said Chloe.

The most influential person in Chloe’s life is her older sister, “She has just inspired me to be my personal best in everything I do and she always believes in me no matter what,” says Chloe.
