VYPE Oklahoma Announces Piedmont’s Chloe Bohuslavicky as the 2019 Shelter Insurance Miss Softball Oklahoma
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Friday, November 22, 2019
TULSA – VYPE Oklahoma is proud to announce Piedmont High School senior Chloe Bohuslavicky as the recipient of the 2019 Shelter Insurance Miss Softball Oklahoma award.
Bohuslavicky is a four-year starter at pitcher who helped lead the Lady Wildcats to their first state championship in school history this year, defeating back-to-back champions Carl Albert. She was also key in the team becoming three-time 5A-2 District Champions (2017-2019), Class 5A Semi-finalists in 2018, and Class 5A Runner-ups in 2017.
Bohuslavicky went 21-5 this season with an ERA of 2.4 in 144 innings pitched. That included 98 strikeouts and three saves on the season. From the plate, she hit .406 with a slugging percentage of .713 on the year. She drove 38 runs on 41 hits with seven doubles. In postseason play Bohuslavicky was 6-0 with a 1.2 ERA while batting .500.
Bohuslavicky has signed with Northeastern State University to play softball. Throughout her high school career Bohuslavicky has earned many accolades including 5A-2 Player of the Year (2018 and 2019), starting pitcher for Large West All-State Team, Daily Oklahoman Big City Player of the Year, and NFCA Academic All-American.
The Shelter Insurance Miss Softball Oklahoma Award recognizes the outstanding athletic achievements of Chloe Bohuslavicky and the high standards of athletic excellence and exemplary character demonstrated on and off the field, which distinguishes Bohuslavicky as Oklahoma’s best high school softball player this season.
Bohuslavicky joins former Miss Softball award winner Kenzie Donihoo – Mustang (2018).
