SOUTH COFFEYVILLE-COPAN LIONS/HORNETS

COACH: TRENTON KALLENBERGER & SHANE PAGE

OFFENSE

The two schools of South Coffeyville and Copan will co-op this season, with each school hosting home games. Offensively, South Coffeyville returns several players with experience including guards Eli Ryan (5-10, 275, Sr.) and Tryston Stevens (6-4, 335, Sr.), tight ends Noah Heape (5-11, 200, Sr.) and Chandler Chick (6-3, 180, So.), quarterback Patrick Rudd (5-11, 175, Jr.), fullback Terex Victory (5-11, 240, Sr.). Copan adds J.T. Cameron (5-10, 150, Jr.) at wide receiver, Zach Sharp (6-5, 240, So.) at tight end, Wyatt Wright (6-0, 200, So.) on the offensive line, Tyrek Millien (6-0, 125, So.) at wide receiver, Bear Waltrip (5-10, 135, So.) at wide receiver and Boston Mackey (6-1, 148, Jr.) at running back. Obviously, there are a lot of details to work out. But the numbers have increased for both teams and these guys are ready to see what they can accomplish in Class B.

DEFENSE

Defensively Copan returns six starters from a year ago. Orion Ostermeier (6-1, 175, Sr.) starts at defensive end with Mackey at linebacker, Cadon McGlathery (5-9, 210, Jr.) at noseguard, Trevor Wilson (6-0, 175, Jr.) at middle linebacker and Waltrip in the secondary. South Coffeyville adds Bennie Beason (5-10, 180, Sr.) at defensive end. Victory also starts at end, while Ryan and Stevens are tackles, Nolan Horner (5-10, 175, Sr.) plays safety and Heape starts at linebacker. There are still a lot of questions to be answered but one thing is certain: it should be a fun season for all.
