OFFENSE
The Quapaw Wildcats have been working toward their goal of getting stronger and faster. On paper they should be improved on both sides of the ball. They will aim to control the line of scrimmage and should be more consistent offensively as well as much better defensively. Leading the offensive attack at quarterback is Kale Thomasson (5-9, 155, Jr.), who racked up 1,300 yards last year passing and running. Matt Lovell (6-3, 230, Jr.) returns at tight end after last season’s 670 receiving yards. Two others who will add to their receiving yards are Jacob Gregory (6-2, 150, Jr.) and Ethan Mate (5-8, 145, Jr.), who had a combined total of 590 yards. Running backs Hunter Thomasson (6-0, 175, Sr.) and Taylor Roher (5-10, 160, Jr.) are offensive assets as well, looking to top their combined total of 1,000 rushing yards last year.
DEFENSE
Some players will be relied upon going both ways, including Kale Thomasson at strong safety, Hunter Thomasson at linebacker and Matt Lovell at defensive end. Returning starter Tanner Daniels (6-2, 245, Sr.) is another big contributor at defensive end. The defensive line will be strengthened by a young duo of Brannigan Ray (6-1, 265, So.) at tackle and Grant Crawford (5-10, 275, So.) at noseguard.
